For Megan

This is for my lovely sister-in-law, Megan, who I know sometimes reads my blog while at work. These are just a few of MANY photos I took over Thanksgiving break. Hopefully I will post others soon! But for now - James and his Uncle Jofo (Megan's hubby), my cute sister-in-law, and the loveliest picture EVER of me and Megan. As you can see, we had lots of fun! I just love the Boster fam. :)

a visit with family

This weekend Jonathan's family came into town and we all went down to Provo for Benjamin's graduate vocal recital. He did an amazing job and we are all so proud of him! We enjoyed being with the family after the recital, I took tons of cute pictures, I got to visit with Janina at the HFAC for awhile, and then the fam went out to eat and then stayed up late at our place playing Rock Band. We just love being with the Bosters and only wish they could have stayed in town longer :) James loved having his grandparents stay with us, and today he said, "Nana? Back?"

La la la

On Saturday we had fun celebrating Jonathan's birthday with family and friends, and enjoyed an evening of playing Beatles Rock Band. Looks like we've got a little singer on our hands...he loves to hold the microphone up to his mouth and sing "la la la!" Maybe he'll be a great singer like his Uncle Benjamin!

Dear Aunt Baba,

Just wanted to let you know that James is lying in his bed (supposedly trying to take a nap) yelling, "Baba!? Baba!?" over and over.

And he keeps asking me (just to be sure) if you are coming to his Daddy's birthday party this weekend.

He just can't wait to see you! I thought that might make you feel good :)

(To the other aunts and uncles: he loves you, too! For example, just today we were shopping for some things, and as we were walking into Walmart I asked him what he thought we needed for his Daddy's party. His first response was "boins" which means balloons - smart boy. When I asked him what else we needed, he said "Dosh!" What's a party without Uncle Josh, right?)

my cousins have cute kids

Saturday we had a wonderful brunch/get-together with my Gibbons grandparents, aunts & uncles, and cousins (at least all who were in town) - plus all the adorable offspring of my cousins. With such a fun and good-looking group, how could I not take a million photos? It was a beautiful (albeit cold - for August), cloudy day at Liberty Park - perfect for pictures!

I love the pictures of my sweet grandparents, and I think it is remarkable to see what a great posterity has come from the two of them. These two are truly amazing people!
