Well it has been quite awhile since I have posted anything on here! We have had a great and busy couple of weeks, and I have a ton of cute pictures I want to put up!
Two weekends ago was James' very first road trip, and his very first time visiting Grandma and Grandpa Boster at the farm! We had such a fun (although short) time with them, and can't wait to go back for a longer visit next month!
Here are James and his Daddy right before we left on our trip on Friday morning. It was so much fun to be able to spend a little more time together as a family than usual - usually Jonathan is so busy with work and school, and it was so fun for him to get the day off on Friday and for us to spend the entire weekend together with no homework or other obligations. Here are my handsome boys:

James did incredibly well on the 6 1/2 hour drive - he actually slept pretty much the entire time, there and back. We stopped in Burley, Idaho to feed him and to eat lunch ourselves, and then he fell back asleep and was only awake for the last 45 minutes or so of the trip. What a cute boy! Here he is in his car seat, all ready to leave on his first road trip with Mommy and Daddy!

James was so excited to see Nana and Grandy Boster! (They were pretty excited to see him, too!) Here is our happy boy with his Grandpa.

My boys - James is all bundled up, ready to go out and see all the farm animals for the first time.

Meeting some cows. Let's be honest, he really wasn't that interested in these guys. He was squinting from the sun in his eyes and it was a little breezy, so he didn't enjoy it all that much. But we snapped a bunch of pictures, and I'm sure when he's a little bit older he will just love coming to see the cows and horses and other animals.

Jonathan and I left for a little while with Mom and Dad and Joseph, and James hung out with his aunts Emma Jeane, Anna, and Rebecca and his Uncle Spencer - and when we got home, he was laughing up a storm! It was the first time he'd laughed out loud! Uncle Spencer was making a funny noise, and Aunt Rebecca was doing something funny with her hair, and James thought it was hilarious! Luckily we got home in time to hear him laugh a little bit before he was too tired. Here he is with his Aunt Emma Jeane:

Our happy little buddy playing with Daddy on Sunday morning:

James really loves his Aunt Emma Jeane!

And Uncle Joseph is tons of fun too!

I had to put this picture up - this is me and my sister-in-law, Anna. Happy, happy Anna. Love you, Anna! :)

Mom and Dad next to Joseph's new truck!

Me and my handsome husband, and the beautiful farmland in the background! The country is so pretty!

Here are a few pictures of their farm and the area where they live - it is just gorgeous!

James made a new friend at church on Sunday - this is his new buddy, Grayson. They are about a month apart, or so.

Grayson's cute mom, Karli. Karli and Jonathan grew up together in this ward, and now Karli lives there with her husband and cute little baby! It'll be fun to see these boys together as they grow up!

We had a great weekend! Our drive home was a little scary - it was snowing SO hard through some mountain passes in Idaho and was pretty scary for awhile, especially since it was dark outside. But our little family made it home safe and sound, and we are so grateful!
