As I was just on the phone with the drivers license division in San Antonio, the woman asked me what county I lived in. "Bexar" I told her. "Bear?" No, "Bexar." "Yeah, it's pronounced Bear. You must be from out of town."

That is the most outrageous spelling ever! It's official that Texas is dumb and you need to come back!
I made this same mistake, only luckily the realitor corrected me quickly! :)
