Daddy is Fun!

Here are my cute boys having a grand old time together. James loves to laugh and have a great time. Here he is wearing Daddy's hat and trying to get away before Jonathan catches him and tickles him! What fun!

a visit from Uncle Benjamin

The other day, Benjamin was in Salt Lake and stopped by to visit us - it was so much fun to see him! When we lived in Provo we used to hang out with him quite often, and I used to see him every single day on campus. We sure miss seeing him so much! He and James had a nice little visit. What a lucky boy James is to have so many awesome aunts and uncles!

we love Uncle Josh, and random camera fun on our sick day

James loves it when Uncle Josh comes over! The two of them are great buds. It is so fun to see my little (but very tall) brother being so cute with my little boy. I hope James turns out as great as Josh! Here are some fun pictures from when Josh came to visit the day we were sick.

And here are some random things I did while playing around with the camera. I forgot my camera had such cool features...

sickies

We are all sick. Well, I think James is feeling a lot better today, but yesterday he had a pretty bad cold and he still has a little bit of a cough. I started feeling sick yesterday and Jonathan felt sick this morning. So, we are all hanging out at home in our pj's today - kind of fun, and comfy!

Here are some cute pictures I took of the boy yesterday while he was playing with his toys and I was laying on the couch.

This next one is my absolute favorite. He looks like a little boy here (as opposed to a baby), and you can even see his THREE teeth if you look closely!!

James Taylor!

Growing up we used to listen to music a lot, and some of our favorites were artists that my Dad really liked - The Moody Blues, Simon and Garfunkel, the Beatles, and our favorite - James Taylor! I have lots of fun memories of driving in the car on family vacations and listening to James Taylor. I still listen to his music quite a bit, and one of our family's favorites now is Sweet Baby James (for obvious reasons!). Last night my three sisters and I went to the James Taylor concert, and it was awesome! He sang a lot of the classics (Sweet Baby James, You've Got a Friend, Fire and Rain) as well as some newer songs, and some new covers he did for an album that's coming out. We had so much fun! Jonathan and James stayed home and had a little guys night in.

our way overpriced but good food :)

recent happenings

Here are my boys hanging out on the front lawn. James loves sitting in the grass, lately he loves pulling up blades of grass and holding them in his little fists.

Our big boy is growing and growing. This week has been kind of sad because he has been teething and has been a little sick - he didn't go to church on Sunday, and Jonathan and I each went to a meeting. I think it was the first time I had sat through an entire Relief Society lesson in a long time - it was kind of nice! Hopefully James will be better soon, his top front tooth came through this morning! I can't wait to see what he'll look like with more teeth! He has been waking up at night like crazy, so we are all a little tired, but doing great!

Baby Shower

Last week my cousin Molly Bay had a baby boy! She wasn't actually due until September, but he came about six weeks early, and we had a baby shower planned for Saturday. Little Graham was still in the NICU, but Molly got to come to the shower and we had so much fun with all the Gibbons and Stoneman girls.
