Cousins & Family Fun

This morning we spent some time with Jonathan's family at Daniel and Bethany's house in Kaysville. We had breakfast and just visited, and it was great to spend some time with them! James and his cousin Joshua are around the same size and they are both getting more mobile and talkative, so it was fun to see them interact with each other. These boys are sure to be great buds as they get older!

Here is our buddy in the car all ready to go this morning.

James was still pretty sleepy when we got there, and it took him a little while to wake up and warm up to everybody. His cousins Joshua and Hannah were very excited to see him and were full of hugs, as you can see!

Uncle Joseph is a favorite, and James hung out with him for awhile and had a nice cuddle while he was waking up. I just love the second picture! I am so grateful that our boy has so many wonderful aunts and uncles who love him. He is such a lucky boy.

Playing with cousin Hannah and some toys. Apparently Hannah has been excited to see James for the past few days and kept asking her mom when she'd get to see "Baby James."

Emma Jeane is so cute with the little kids!

Jonathan's cousin Kim and her husband Ryan were also there. We have been able to get to know them a little during the past few months or so, and they are so much fun! One very interesting thing is that Kim recently had the exact same ear problem (cholesteatoma) as Jonathan and had ear surgery a couple of months ago. We are now very curious to find out if this is a genetic thing (Kim's cholesteatoma was congenital) or if Jonathan's was acquired somehow. Anyway, it was good to talk to her and to be able to have someone else who knows what Jonathan is going through. She has recovered well and her ear looks great, so that made us feel better!

This picture is of Emma Jeane, Kim and Anna. What beautiful gals!
